At TDW2010, “JALAPAGOS Exhibition” aroused people’s inter- est. Contemporary art joined TDW for the first time and TDW exhibited works of 16 leading artists of the contemporary art world of Japan such as Takashi Murakami and Kohei Nawa. The grand exhibition held in a special open-air venue, not at a gallery nor art museum, resulted in not only increased number of new art fan groups but also brought a new discovery to contemporary art fans by being connected with design. TDW-ART, a bridge be- tween design and art, will take place on a larger scale this year!
